Yesterday was a great day..
I was invited to an event at Ritz Carlton Millenia Hotel..
To attend "The Entrepreneur of the Year 2009"
That was the day where Directors of some companies..
And their staff were invited to a dinner..
The event was also graced by the current DPM, Mr Teo..
*DPM = Deputy Prime Minister*

Guess what..
I was awarded and received the trophies from Mr Teo's hand..
Thank You Thank You!!
I want to thanks my dad, my mum, my brothers, my sisters, blah blah blah...

I was there for work..

I was supposed to be a "Technical Crew"??
Actually I'm an "Event Crew", just that they are out of tags..


Then it was so funny lah..
I was stationed at the entrance..
Then one of the guests came out asking where's his seats located..
He looked at my tag..
Then he gave me a look of..
"forget it, don't think a technical crew will know"
Walao.. like that lor.. =X

Anyway..
The hotel's toilet is so grand lah..
Marble floor and wall..
Hand towels and tissue papers at the basins..
The ambience in the toilet..
WOoooOoot...

My job there actually quite simple..
Reached there at about 11plus in the morning..
Briefing about our jobscope by the Producer..
Then was sent off by them to go have lunch..
So XiuLing, her friend and me went over to Marina..
Went back to the ballroom at 12.45pm..
Then some rehersals for the Award Winners..

Then we were sent off again at 2pm to slack till 4pm..
After 4pm, we went back to the ballroom..
And walk here and there to do some supervising..
I was send to buy dinner over at Marina at 6pm..
Came back at about 6.30pm..
Then the crews took turns to have dinner..
As the guests are already here for the event..

The guests are all either in their blazers or evening gowns..
It was like so "qi pai" lor..
Then XiuLing said, "One day, we're going to be the one standing there and let people talking about us.."
Do you get it? =D

After our dinner, we went to assigned post..
For me, I was attached with the assistant producer..
Sort of a runner for him..
My main job was to open the door and close the door..
For the Award winners to enter the ballroom..
During the Awards Presentation ceremony..

After that, I was outside of the ballroom slacking..
Together with the assistant producer..
As our job is done?

As the event was going to an end..
XiuLing and her friend finally came out of the ballroom after 4hours..
We were at the foyer chit chatting..
There was once that there was this director from a company..
Came and talk to us..

He said something about..
We did a good job, if without us, this event won't be going smoothly, etc...
Then he walked off and came back to us with a glass of Martell..
Then he said about asking us to drink some of it..
Talking about, "一人一半感情不散"..
Kinda helped the girls blocked off that..
By drinking half of that pure Martell..
They call it "nick" I think, no ice no nothing, just martell..
The feel was so choking!

Haiz.. My assistant producer came over after I drank that half..
The director then turned to him and asked him drink also..
He drank up all the remaining..
He should have come earlier lah.. hahas.. =X

The event ended at 11pm..
